so heavyheavylowlow and duck duck goose are touring the west coast in late june... no signs of the shows getting cancelled yet and from the looks of the hhll instagram page they're trying to go through with it but i'm assuming it's a goner... would be great to be proven wrong but i also highly doubt the venues are gonna just let it happen if like the state of emergency doesn't let up. v sad times 4 lots of reasons. *"siri play there's a bat acoustic version"
No commentshere's what i remember.. my friends who had just graduated picked me up and we went to the fest which was like 6 hours away from where we lived. we got there late because they wanted to buy weed off someone's cousin who lived in the outskirts of san jose. we missed the first few bands (the main reason i went) but apparently they all got BOOED OFF STAGE.... including heavy heavy low low (IN THEIR H O M E T O W N!!!), number 12 looks like you AND devil wears prada. by the time we got there job for a cowboy was playing and nobody was down except a few scene kids and the obv big guys who would pit for anyone. necro (the cannibal rapper) didn't play. he dropped off the tour cuz he prob got booed too. everyone else who was even kinda alt had a decent response but by the time we got in and smoked etc. i was like pissed at the lineup i was gonna see and spent the rest of the show in a bad mood. looking back i was i was actually pretty lucky to have caught it all. the kids i was with were huge shadows fall fans (lmao) and that's who they cared about seeing. the last half of the fest was who the majority of people were there to see. looking back, all around the lineup was a disaster. as much as i'd love to see all these underground bands on one bill, it just didn't make sense. thanks for coming to my ted talk
