okay so i'm in spanish three and for part of our final we have to give a 3 min verbal presentation. luckily it's about anything we want, but there's a little problem. i want to talk about gender neutral pronouns (like elle/la, ól/ol) but if i do that i'm almost certainly going to out myself. that's not a terrible thing bc my school is really accepting however my spanish teacher is a family friend and she would almost positively use gender neutral pronouns for me around my mom. my mom is generally accepting of the lgbt community but she's said some mildly transphobic things to me in the past and she keeps on telling me that if i "were trans, i would be sad that you changed ur name" and misgendering a couple of my friends. do i take the risk and come out to her or should i spare myself and do it on something else.......

guys i should have never asked my brother to help me get splatoon. he gave it to me yesterday and i'm already addicted to it. it's literally so fun and everything i had guessed it would be. the artstyle is so cute and all i wanna do is play rounds and draw marina fanart. i'm sitting here in class losing my mind bc all i want to do is log off and go play splatoon. it's like when he gave me botw all over again. dear fucking god the squid game has me mind controlled

now, i'm not usually one to get into this discussion on social media, but seeing what's going on right now, i couldn't just not say anything. specifically, i'm talking about two things: violence against asians and the 97%. as an afab asian, this all is directly affecting me. i am utterly appalled at how little action is taken against these two things. lots of media is getting pushed out to spread the word, but it's being circulated in such a way that it isn't reaching the people that either can contribute to the effort or need to be educated on what's currently happening. i'm glad that so many people are spreading the word but i know for a fact that not nearly as many people that are sharing are actually making an effort to change what's happening, and part of that is because it's being spread on platforms mainly dominated by teenagers who are too young to do things such as sign petitions or contribute money to a cause. and in the 97% movement, you can actually physically see how few men give a shit about what's happening. the people who need to be educated on what's happening with sexual harassment are not going to see the content they need to because they are actively avoiding interacting with creators who make it.

hi yall lol i haven very active this past week bc a couple things happened

• i got a shit ton of school assignments
• i got the second dose of the covid vaccine and the side effects took me out
• i've been working on my art and got noticed by my favorite creator and have been spending my time interacting with her and streaming on her discord server

anyways she's amazing and has fantastic music taste lol
