HIIIII as a lesbian I want to celebrate lvw with other lesbians! so yes that means even if you're wlw if you're not lesbian this week ISNT FOR YOU. I have TikTok and the amount of lesbophobia I've seen in less than a week DURING lesbian visibility week is disturbing :( many wlw who arent lesbians saying we're biphobic/panphobic for making lesbian safe spaces, but nobody is stopping anyone from making a bisexual safe space? It's weird because we never get included in many pride celebrations like art, for example, we always have to TELL people to include us and it hurts. Another thing I wanted to talk about was the weird censorship people do when they say lesbian ("le dollar bean, lesbo, le$bean) it demonizes the word lesbian and makes it look like its a bad thing to say or its innapropriate, it's really invalidating and it makes me feel like I'm inappropriate or a bad thing when I'm not. And it's mostly women being lesbophobic which isn't surprising but it is at the same time? ty for listening to my ted talk :).
