sorry i haven't been active! i tend to go thru these phases of activity with things. i think it's an ADHD problem but i'm not sure! anyway i hope you all have a really great night tonight! if you're drinking, remember to drink a whole lot of water too, or else you'll start your new years over a toilet.... whats everyones resolutions? if youre the type of person to make them, that is :D here's some of mine in no particular order:

1. be more active on myspace!! lol
2. exercise!!! you ever wonder why so much new years stuff has planet fitness product placement? thats cuz of people like me, lmao
3. really take the time to learn the instruments ive been working with, and the ones i got over christmas! i have a guitar, two ukes, a huuuuge synthesizer keyboard, a banjo (YES REALLY) and i use both fl studio and famitracker now.... jack of all trades and master of none, but sometimes better than a master of one, hahaha
4. talk to my friends more. i've been drifting from all of them :{ it sucks!!
5. really focus on school! ill be getting my associates this semester if i pass all my classes! but also...
6. STOP TREATING SCHOOL LIKE ITS THE END ALL BE ALL and accept that its ok if i just want to pack up my stuff and travel around the world and busk for enough money to sleep in a building and eat. lololol. i have so much trouble remembering school and a job isn't the only way to live life...

i doubt ill be able to keep them all, but who ever is??? i hope you're the first!! :}

i started a new job today! :0 mostly it was just saying hello to people but its kind of fun :} theres also new people to meet there which is exciting!!! its been forever since ive met new people!

hows everyone's week been? hump day or whatever lolololol. ive been still playing around in fl studio and while i dont know how to produce a song, ive gotten pretty good at editing clips together to get a particular effect, or make a mashup! i have 3 new uploads to soundcloud since my last blog post about it (which has a link if you wanna check them out!) and one of the things ive made is my new page mp3 :D im jamming out lately!

hey myspace! how was everyone's thanksgiving? i was lucky to have a little bit of company for a few days while i celebrated :}

i wish i had more good news for everybody, but i havent been feeling great at all. i dont even really want to make a blog post, but the longer i go without using a site, the less likely i am to ever come back. so im making one! because im not abandoning this place dammit >:0 promise im alright! i just dont really want to talk to anyone for now :{ im not my usual, cheery self.

i want to change up my css and try making it mostly from scratch like my handler is doing but it takes FOOOOREVER and also my page looks so cool the way it is.... i dont think id change my most favorite parts, but maybe the layout and stuff :}

also, if youve had any scary dreams lately you should tell me about them! i havent been dreaming the past few days and its frustrating because i really wanna make some more art. :{

also, i dont know if i mentioned but i go back and delete my blog posts occasionally :0 if something i say disappears, thats usually why!

i learned 4 new things this week!

i learnt a little sheet music AND practiced piano, i can play chopsticks! i dont have my own piano so i've been learning in garageband :} it's really hard when i can't feel the keys going down under my fingers, but im hoping ill get a synthesizer for the holidays this year!!!

also i rotoscoped something for the first time! it was actually super relaxing and the end result was super cool. if you can find it, let me know what you think! i hid it for you :}

the fourth thing i learned is really basic css! lol

i've always had this weird kind of relationship with my art? i make a ton of it, but i never save it, or really finish anything big enough to release on its own. and then 2 weeks after i make it, i reread or relisten or re...look?? at it again and delete it because i don't like it anymore. what gives???

i used to be able to post my art publicly, and maintain a ██████ account with mutuals and art events and everything. what happened must've freaked me out so bad it made me a hermit :{

lots of people said they like my page here though! so just for you guys, i'm still hiding writing and art around my sites :}

hey fellow new users! when you're adding a custom cursor to your page, i'd recommend double checking to make sure there isn't a large amount of transparent space around the image. here's my current cursor, from cursors-4u:

i could just right click and copy the url to the image, paste it into my site and be good to go. but instead of doing that, i'm going to copy the image itself, open it up in ms paint and check it out

i do a lot of my site in adhd-induced rapid fire bursts, so my favorite site to use to crop images like this (and also do literally anything else) is ezgif. you can keep your image animated, transparent and crop it all at once!
i'm assuming lots of you are new to designing your own webpage, and it thrills me to see so many people trying it out. this is just some friendly advice from one n00b to the rest. make sure you're able to click on things on your page with the very tip of your custom cursor, and you don't have to move the cursor down slightly use it! it makes a big difference in the quality of your web design. :}
