some fun words

what classifies a word as 'fun' to me is how it looks / sounds, and not necessarily what it means.

Unadorned - plain

Crimson - a deep red

Dreary - dull, break and lifeless

Contorts - twist or bend out of normal shape

Ravishing - delightful

Elusive - difficult to catch, achieve or recall

Ecstatic - the feeling of overwhelming joy, happiness or excitement

Calamity - an event causing great damage or distress, often sudden ; a disaster

Sardonic - grimly mocking, or cynical

Revel - get great pleasure from

Wavering - flickering. becoming weaker; faltering. undecided between two opinions.

Writhing - making twisting, squirming movements, or contorting the body

Vanquish - defeat thoroughly / concur
