New hot topic
New Hot Topic sucks. I walk in there and I see Post Malone Shirts, Harry Potter pens, and anime plushes. While ariana grande is playing. It sucks. Not that any of those things are bad, it’s just not Hot Topic. I wanna go in and hear Slipknot playing. I wanna go in and be able to purchase gir from invader sim shirts. I wanna go in and be able to buy mcr and Silverstein cds. But it’s not like that. The most “alt” thing there is their studded belts and they o my have them every once in a while and the only ones available are plain gray ones. That’s the only “alt” thing there. I don’t see why you can’t purchase the same things you could there 10 years ago. Hot topic owns another store that sells Harry Potter and anime related things. So why does hot topic have to sell that stuff? There are plenty other store who sell those things like lunchbox, fye, etc. Not to mention that Harry Potter and anime are so mainstream you can buy that mercy pretty much anywhere. You might say “Well you can just order online” buying alternative clothes are hard to find online, you have to pay for shipping, they are usually priced up and don’t fit right. It’s easier to just go in a store and purchase them. To find what you want but noooooo. I just want old Hot Topic back </3
even tho ive never seen old hot topic, it sure does sound better than the new one :P
i agree, hot topic has gotten pretty mainstream.
Because Hipsters are out of style and people like mainstream stuff. Besides Hot Topic is a shitty store anyways, its like Zumiez but for the fucking anti social kids.
Let me also bring up the fact that Hot Topic is overpriced Malaysian trash.
