Imagine you just entered an elevator, and pressed floor 7. As we speak, the elevator doesn't stop and goes higher. Suddenly it shows that it's higher than the building, and it keeps going...
What would you do and what would you think of that situation?

Sounds like the elevator is taking me to heaven, or as I would (not) call it, "JesusLand"
my first thought would be that the number display in the elevator is broke and that the elevator must be stuck lol
I would jump out and commit die
those buttons don't work
I would think "wow, i wonder who left this faulty elevator unfixed. kinda wished it stopped now" and i'd hit the button to open the doors which usually stops elevators in the nearest floor then i'd hit the floor i wanted to go to
I would simply just stop the elevator
