Comment if no too.
Good point to remind us about the day. I have actually disapproved a handful of comments which I found too harsh, too anti American.
America no heaven on earth, but hey Armed and Dangerous was an American film!!
Also imo making derogatory posts on a holiday meant to mourn the dead (of most of those who were forced into combat unwillingly or unknowingly) is in the same vain and talking about the Spanish's/Mexico's faults on Dia de Los Muertos.
it could totally be better though
People act like living in the United States is hell, itβs definitely no paradise, but I swear Americans complain too much
Yeah, you're right. Enough politics for today though. I agree (with your latest post), it's tiresome.
true, still not exclusively in america
The "too powerful structures" could be a bigger problem in other countries though, although er hear a lot about the 1%-club of Americans here in Europe, er, MacDonald something Island.
As for the positive sides: I think skateboarding, baseball, surfing, cocktails, rock n roll, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are all very American.
A couple of sources regarding the negative sides:
Unhealthy food:
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/sep/26/american-diet-report-card-unhealty
Porn:
https://techcrunch.com/2007/05/12/internet-pornography-stats/?guccounter=1
"89% of porn is created in the U.S."
but a lot of those things aren't just exclusively in america
