so, towards the end of summer vacation, i had trouble falling asleep at a reasonable hour, and instead pulled all nighters every night. it got kind of bad, so i started taking melatonin. the melatonin didn't help - while i fell asleep about an hour after taking it, i only slept for 3 or 4 hours, after which i stayed up until 8 A.M.
i guess having to start waking up early helped a lot because i no longer fall asleep at ungodly hours. Huh!
