Minecraft is so hard

Any Dream SMP fans out there? I got so invested in it because a few friends showed me the lore, and I love a good story. I'm trying to learn how to actually play the game but oh my god. 😳 I've been on my friends shared minecraft server for months and I still only have wooden tools and live in a dirt shack. Not pog 😭
