like stars

her eyes shone like stars
they were so bright they could light up a room
but one day they exploded
the blood poured from her face as the fire bore into her skull
her vibrant iris' combusting
she fell to the ground
i rushed to pick up the pieces but they burned

she may as well just have ripped them out herself
