Yess!! i was just thinking about this; im not a person with epilepsy and some of these pages manage to hurt even me, cant imagine how dangerous it is for others. I understand theyre cool and all but people's safety comes first;;
UGH i hate people who have flashing lights on their profile :( my eyes r really sensitive(and i mean really) and glitchcore/flashy things make eyes hurt for so long! i hate it so much! and theres no way to warn anyone about it on myspace unless you know how to code a warning :((
right!!! so many people have such flashy pages that could really hurt people :( and i hope they realize that
Yea
vvvv this for real. ive seen more than a few people who have like a startup page that covers their account before uncovering it, i dont see why people cant do the same with adding a flash warning that way
"im late omg.. but yes?? i have epilepsy and flashing colors also overstimulate me(especially if they are one every inch of the page). luckily i haven't had a seizure, but some of the pages are really just over the top, but they do look cool af, i understand the want for a page like that, especially on here, they do look p'cool, but you can have an eyestrain theme without having to give someone a seizure or migraines and stuff like that(non-flashing gifs, have a warning image flash in the beginning
as a temporary solution you can use uBlock origin to block images from appearing.also there was one template which people kept copying it seems less common atleast now but if you want to block it anyway:
myspace.windows93.net/blog.php?id=9993&b=5
one day ill post my entire image block list for people to use
i feel like its a rlly big issue here that i havent seen anyone else address and it makes me rlly sad tbh :// the warning plugin sounds really cool, but a plugin that stops them alltogether would also be nice, i think. im glad others agree w me on this and that im not just sittin here like a dead fish in the water lol
yeah it bothers me too tbh. i was thinking there should be a way to code a browser plugin that disables all gif animations and renders them down to still images. that could solve the problem
i wonder if there's a way to be able to code a big picture that covers the entire screen that says "this page has lots of flashing colors" and it goes away when you click it. i've been lookin at resources and it seems possible but i'm not good enough at css to get it to work right
