hmm to music or not

man. i have so much music from my high school years that i never released and idk should i start dropping music eventually? like i want to but man i dont know if i feel comfortable doing it lmao. like on top of releasing i dont want to be the annoying 18 year old shoving my music down everyones mouth. like how does one respectfully promote their music? if anyone has any advice that would be appreciated! <3
