Here are some notes to know if someone is in character or out of character, mostly for roleplay and such. They can come in many forms!
IC AND OOC IN ROLEPLAY:
IC = In Character
OOC = Out Of character
Most likely, some people don't use IC and OOC for In Character and Out Of Character messages, but they use parenthesis!
Here is an example below the line.

I hope this is very understandable! Oh, and don't forget interaction in roleplay!

-carefully opens door-
~carefully opens door~ - ~
That is it for notes for roleplay! If you forget to use these in roleplay, it is completely fine!

SAY WHAT NOW (ooc)
Okay? What am I supposed to do about it? (ic)
IC should most likely only be used in one message after someone says something out of character.
