Dream log #1

I was home alone in the late evening, watching Toy Story on TV, when I spotted something in the window. I turned and saw Jupiter in the sky, clear as day. It looked pretty similar to this image, but a slight bit smaller.

So obviously I'm amazed. I grab one of my dad's cameras and rush outside, heading up the berm in the backyard to get a good photo. The zoom is shoddy and when I took a photo, a flash somehow appeared on it.

I went and got a much fancier camera, noticing nebulae and clouds beginning to form around Jupiter. I'm like "oh my god this would be an incredible shot" so I point the much nicer camera and try to take a good picture. But it didn't click and no photo appeared. Annoyed, I called up the camera company while fiddling with the camera.

I then realized that this camera was a polaroid, but the photographs came out torn up and falling apart. The man on the phone is very nice, but I'm too annoyed at this point to properly communicate the issue. I look up and see that the nebulae and Jupiter are beginning to fade.

Suddenly a family of hitchhikers on the other side of the berm spotted me and started walking towards me. I freak out, politely hang up, and run back inside, only to realize I somehow left one of the cameras and a? pencil case? on the berm. I do a very tense shuffle over to grab them. The hitchhikers are now in the backyard, with the husband taking a photo of his wife and kids on a bench. I end up shooing them away with a broom.
